The Hollow is a delightful Edwardian manor house offering luxury accommodation in the heart of the Peak District, surrounded by limestone walls and rolling hills.

Being completely modernised without compromising the original features, The Hollow is the ideal bed and breakfast for the discerning traveller. The house has three rooms, consisting of two super king suites with walk in showers and baths and one twin/super king bedroom with private bathroom and shower over bath. All rooms have expansive views over acres of countryside towards the famous town of Bakewell. The Monsal Trail is accessible only three fields away. "We stayed 3 nights in July and can highly recommend both the B&B and the location. Anna is an exceptional host and our room had everything you could possibly need, a fridge, iron/ironing board; and the bath was the longest, deepest I've ever experienced, I could almost swim in it - pure luxury after a day's walking. Little Longstone has an excellent pub, and just a short walk down the road in the next village, Great Longstone, are 2 more excellent food pubs, so we tried out each one for our stay, perfect!"

"During the bad weather I was stranded and waved down the owner of this b&b to ask him for directions. He advised me for my own safety to not try to travel back in the snow. He then rang his wife and out of the kindness of both of their hearts they let me stay for the night even though their b&b was not open for guests at the time. The couple were so friendly, welcoming and looked after me ever so well. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfy and the service was great. The view was lovely in a quiet location and the couple did their best to make me feel at home. I had breakfast in the morning which was cooked to perfection and could not recommend this b&b enough! I will definitely be returning in the future."

"Excellent, clean comfortable great location to get to Monsal Head. Very well kept gardens. The Breakfast here was delicious and the host is very hospitable. Mini Fridge was a fantastic bonus in the summer heat. Will definitely return."
